Dear Inga Family,
Happy New 2010 Year to All!
The Leadership Team wishes you all full success in all your business this year. May the Lord God bless you all, and make all your dreams according to His will become reality during this 2010 year.
We thank all those who came on December 31st to celebrate this important time of the year with our community; and we hope that those who could not make it will join us next time. Our 2010 New Year Party was taped; the video will soon be available; here is the preview of the Inga 2010 New Year's Party: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50rk6ArQ4Es
Thanks to our Jesuits’ Fathers in Berkeley, Father Richard Tambwe and Father Willy Moka, our 2010 New Year Party took place in the secure hall of the Church of St. David of Wales, in Richmod. When we say “secure hall”, we really mean it; those who had a chance to come at our last Independence Day, and at the 2010 Yew Year’s Party, can testify what we are saying. The hall has enough parking spots for a big crowd.
The celebration was a really fun time for our children and for all of us; and we had the chance to thank our outgoing President, Mr. Delphin Kyubwa, and also greet our new Leadership Team. The New Year Party started at 7:00 pm, and the dancing floor was continually crowded until everyone got tired and left in the morning after 6:00 am! As usually, we had a lot of drinks, and our Mamans made sure to cook more than enough delicious Congolese cuisine.
Our special gratitude goes to but not limited Maman Huguette and Maman Mapassa for the yummy food; to Feli and Maman Annie Bazinga, Fefe Makaba, Maman Judith Balumbu, who assured the service at the Party; to Calvert Balumbu for the great music; to Jerome Sindano, who spent most of the Party at the door; to Eric Ilanga, our Media Coordinator, for taping the event, and all the great (as he would call it) logistic tasks he took care of; to Samito Kinfuema for his very appreciated help on setting off tables and chairs after the Party.
We thank you all for your support to our community, and for making this event a success. We will see you all at our General Assembly in February 20, 2010, when our New President, Maman Mimi Mandiangu Kinfuema, will present her action plans to the community.
Once again we wish you all a blessed 2010 Year.
For the Leadership Team,
Fidele Mutima, General Secretary.
